Looks to be pretty solid. The enviorments look a bit bland but animations are very good.
To those above me..For shooters the 360 pad is better but this is a ps game so its irrelavant really.
Looking foward to trying this out.

This is on easy. Belive me if you have ever fought General Ram on the Hard settings in Gears1 you will realise its one of the hardest boss battles ever. Don't be fooled by the easy setting. Easy is for wimps.
Insane on gears1 made the battles in MGS seem like a walk in the park.
If they make money oh the PS3 which im sure they will in the the next year or two then there will be a PS4. Sony are not going anywhere.
And there were people on here saying it would flop. Will top a million easy. The first one sold over 3mill and this will do better.
Got it today and its very good.
Heavy rain should look better as its not open world like Alan Wake. To render an open world in detail takes a lot of doing.
As it is Wake look great. Im getting both but think Wake is showing more promise.
Alan wake is an open game world unlike Heavy rains so heavy rain should look better, As it is Wake looks stunning and for my money seems to be offering a lot more. I will probably get them both but my moneys on Wake for the win.
Its good but i prefer the rendezvous trailer. As for the resistance one... well the game looks good but come on the trailer is typical game trailer, seen it all before.
To be honest this kind of thing was done long before MGS,so i wouldn't give credit there. Although MGS did it better. But then it should MGS is more about the story. no one really cares about why there fighting in Gears they just like blowing sh!t up.

The 360 is going to continue to sell like crazy with these prices.
it might be good, might not but all the tombraider games have sold very well thats why they keep making them. It will sell no matter what and probably more than uncharteds 1.4million.
It might be a far worse game than uncharted but in this world the best doesn't always come first.
Anyway it might be good. Heres a thought why don't we all play the games first rather than reviewing them based on videos and platform.

Don't see why people are moaning about the ending its not like most games have amazing endings. Theres a few but there far between. And shooters normally have the worst endings ever.
And to be honest i don't play these sort of games for the story i play em to blow sh!t up.
All i want is more of the same from gears2. So guess im going to be very happy come the 7thNov.

Great score by Edge as there usually very tough. They must be mellowing as i see a lot of games got high scores this month from them.
I disagree with there point about being able to create anything though... racing games, beat em ups , shoot em ups..adventures... its always going to be a platformer.
As far as review's go thats the most gushing ive yet seen though.
Thats fair enough. Sony should have asked them too so Ps3 fans of the series could also have it.
Not a bad level but it has very little resemblance to portal apart from it being white and red. Maybe they should put in captured pics of the cameras and wall instructions in it.
I thought uncharted had good graphics ( though not as amazing as some make out) but prefer Tomb raider. Uncharted was all shooting and hardly any exploring and although i quite enjoyed it i prefer the exploration of Laras adventures.
I also think Tomb raiders level design is far superior to Uncharted's, it has far more scale and grandness with more interesting environments.
Theres no way Rockstar will make the next GTA playstation only. The last GTA sold more on the 360 no to mention the money microsoft gave them for DLC. Unless Sony are willing to make up the money they made off the 360 version which is around 300 mill then it won't happen.
GTA is will remain multi format from now on.
